This afternoon, the staff and administrators on our New Britain campus enjoyed handing out candy to costumed elementary school students from Raymond Hill School and children from our Extended Day Treatment program. For those whose jobs do not routinely involve interacting with the youth we serve, this was a special opportunity to meet some of them and extend kindness in the form of friendly greetings and sweet treats. It also gave the kids a safe place to trick-or-treat and a chance to practice social skills.
The superheroes, princesses, and Ninja Turtles charmed us all with their enthusiasm and good manners as they trick-or-treated their way through our offices!
