Evening of Recognition 2017

????????????????????????????????????

Klingberg staff and trustees enjoyed the second annual Evening of Recognition on January 12, 2017, at the Aqua Turf in Southington. A Raymond Hill School employee, “DJ Buzz,” kept the dance floor filled, while the two photo booths provided laughs throughout the evening—not to mention the good food and even better company!

Even technical difficulties couldn’t dampen the spirit of the evening. When the video that had been prepared to play at the event stopped partway through, the staff burst into an impromptu rendition of the background song, “Lean on Me,” while they waited for the video to continue. It was a perfect example of the way Klingberg Family Centers’ staff supports each other, and many called it their favorite part of the night.

The video itself was another highlight. Photos of each department/program showed the scope of Klingberg’s services; volunteers, employees of the month, and special awards were highlighted; and “memorable moments” pictured throughout underscored our strong working relationships.

The evening was a success by all measures. According to feedback, it made staff “feel special and appreciated” and “proud to be [part] of the Klingberg family.”
