The Farmington Senior and Community Center was rocking on a recent Wednesday night when Klingberg Family Centers’ Foster Care and Adoption program’s families and staff gathered for their annual holiday party. Around 100 people attended, including longtime foster families and parents just beginning the licensing process.
The evening began with a catered meal, served by two amazing volunteers from OneDigital Health & Benefits, and continued with fun on the dance floor and in the photo booth. Children and parents reconnected with old friends and met new ones as they enjoyed yummy chocolate-chip cookies and danced the Whip/Nae Nae.
The warmth between Klingberg staff and foster/adoptive families was evident in the many smiles and hugs exchanged throughout the evening. At the end of the party, each social worker presented her families with a gift basket containing all the makings of a family movie night.
Klingberg Family Centers believes that each child is precious and deserving of a safe, caring home, and we are truly grateful for all of the families who join us in demonstrating this belief by opening their hearts and homes to the children who need them.
